Why This Exists

Search for asbestos removal anywhere north of Parry Sound and you'll find two things: directory listings, and the generic service pages of national restoration franchises. Neither tells you what's actually in a 1962 New Sudbury bungalow, a Hollinger house in Timmins, or a winterized camp on Nipissing. Neither gives you a real date. And in most of the region, neither is based anywhere near you.

Northern Abatement Pros was set up to be the local front door for that work. We connect homeowners, buyers, sellers, landlords and property managers across Northeastern Ontario with certified, insured abatement and environmental contractors who work in the region — and we handle the part that's usually missing: a straight answer about what needs doing, a written quote, and a schedule that accounts for the distance.

How We Work

Testing before removal, whenever there's doubt. Most of the calls we get don't need everything removed. Some don't need anything removed. A test costs a fraction of an abatement and tells you which. Learn more →

Written, itemized quotes after a real assessment. What's being removed, what type of operation it is under Ontario Regulation 278/05, what's included, what happens if more is found. Never a number over the phone, sight unseen.

Work done to the regulation. Containment, negative air, HEPA cleaning, licensed disposal with a manifest, and — for Type 3 work — independent air clearance before the enclosure comes down. You get the paperwork.

Scheduled for the North. Crews are grouped by district so they arrive with a full slate. That's how a job in Kapuskasing or Kirkland Lake gets a real date and a fair price instead of "sometime next season."

No fear-selling. Intact, undisturbed asbestos in good condition is a management problem, not an emergency. We'll say so.

Northern Abatement Pros arranges the assessment, the quote, and the scheduling, and stays the point of contact from the first call to the clearance report.
